Upon arrival, we discovered a nest of bees in our balcony doorframe, which was promptly addressed by the friendly staff who upgraded us to a better room. This proactive service made us feel valued as guests. Our new room was spacious and well-decorated, featuring comfortable bedding and essential amenities like air conditioning and free Wi-Fi. The cleanliness was commendable, providing peace of mind. While breakfast wasn’t included in the cost, the wide array of options made it worth the additional expense, especially with the pleasant staff serving us at our table. The hotel's location was a bonus, within walking distance to historic sites, parks, and riverside areas, perfect for leisurely outdoor activities like hiking and cycling. the private courtyard offered secure parking for those exploring the region. De La Paix offers a solid choice for travelers seeking comfort and convenience at a fair price, effectively merging the perks of a luxury stay with thoughtful value.
